Opportunistic Fungal Invasion in COVID-19 Pandemic: A Critical Review in Diagnosis and Management

Abstract Severe acute respiratory syndrome corona virus-2(SARS-CoV-2) is the culprit behind pandemic across globe in recent decades. Variants of SARS-CoV especially coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)-related fungus might not be identified or misdiagnosed on a worldwide scale. Patients COVID-19 acquired invasive mycoses, if they are very ill immunosuppressed. Clinical intervention based various standard guidelines would necessary to guarantee that Aspergillus and Candida-infected patients adequately treated. To facilitate clinical professionals, doctors, paramedics, laboratory staff treatment variants with concurrent aspergillosis, candidiasis, mucormycosis, cryptococcosis, tabulation format drafted this study. We believe it prudent take into account general nature, variety mycosis arriving, strength limits diagnostic tools, conditions, need for standardized customized therapy coronavirus-infected patients.
